Travel security in light of COVID-19

One thing we know for certain after 2020 is that online meetings and seminars are here to stay. However, business travel is still an important and necessary part of our economy and market.

Things will eventually go back to normal with the distribution of the COVID-19 vaccine, but it will take some time before widespread immunity is achieved.

There are several questions we need to ask ourselves before we plan our next travel:

  • When will I be able to travel safely again?
  • Will there be an international vaccine pass?
  • What is the employer duty of care regarding COVID-19?
  • What do I need to do to stay healthy when on the road?
  • What do I need to know about airline and hotel policies?

In this seminar you will get to interact with experienced professionals in travel security and get key learning points for planning your next business travel abroad. You can interact and ask questions during the seminar.

Together with Norwegian Business Travel Association (NBTA) we are proud to present the program and speakers:

09.00-09.15: Welcome by NSR and NBTA

09.15 – 09.45 Tore Njå from International SOS

  • Why do you as an organisation need to plan ahead before resuming travel?
  • What are the risks and challenges related to COVID when travelling, and what do travellers need to think about before and during travelling?
  • Managing a positive case and providing assistance to a mobile workforce

09.45 – 10.30 Jan Henrik Ulvatne from NBTA and International Air Transport Association (IATA)

  • IATA travel passes initiative
  • Q&A and discussion

10.30 – 11.00 Cato Stensland and George Mackenzie Smith from Trygg

  • Duty of Care: When an incident occurs, it is of outmost importance to have planned in advance. The planning itself might be quality work but often lacking in execution. How do you plan for the execution of strategy and make sure all relevant parties have the same understanding and information to best solve any problem?
  • Through cases and experiences, Stensland and Machenzie will adress how to report incidents efficiently through mass messaging system - when danger is imminent.

Special offer!

All participants will get a discount on Trygg, an essential digital tool for organisations who prioritise the safety of their staff.
